Swanking
Hey guys just wondering if it's possible to turn the 09-12 fiesta into the 13- facelift fiesta in terms of the front grill? Thanks for your help in advance.
winemart2
Why bother? If you want the facelift, go buy one. Why piddle around with aesthetics? Who will notice besides yourself? I apologise unreservedly but why is the front grille so important? What year is it? What condition is the engine in (first and foremost) ? ukcal
I actually prefer the look of the MK7 at the front.. I am slightly biased, but I don't miss not being able to afford a 7.5 for the sake of the aesthetics at the front!
scousa
Can be done but you'll need new bonnet, bumper & headlights
Phil 87
I agree the MK7 looks at least as good if not better at the front (unless you're going for the honeycomb grille, or wanting to make an ST replica).
scousa
Or you could get the zunsport front grille for a similar open mouth fish look
Swanking
Yeah it's the st replica look I'd be going for and the reason for all this is because I'm being offered a 2010 mk7 zetec s with 30000 miles for only 4000 but would like to have the honeycomb look of the facelift at the front
scousa
Sounds like a pretty good deal. I've actually got all of the parts ready to do the front end swap on my car atm except I'm waiting on new mist washers and possibly a splitter before fitting A few people have already done it without too much drama
Dannyd1110
Does the bonnet catch have to be swapped as just done one for my son as a surprise for Xmas but the bonnet doesn’t seem to sit down enough to meet bumper
