Rs air box arrived today.

Gives me some peace of mind that the air filter is OK, and a bit more noise than the original one but definitely not worth the price I paid for it! I've also now got a spare bottom half of an air box and extra filter lol

It's an OK price for the complete airbox but I agree expensive just to get the lid.

How much louder is it? Biggest difference will be with Windows open. Even better with bonnet up, lol.

It's not much louder than the enclosed stock one but loud enough for you to hear it. Obviously no where near as loud as leaving it off completely!

Well i had a little bit of a battle with a curb and lost :( Was really disappointed as first time i've scuffed an alloy and did a right good job on it.

How the heck did you kerb it with the tyre ridges?

You must have hammered it into the kerb 🤔

The kerb was really tall, most of them are around here.

All I know is.. I won't be doing it again lol

Where did you get it fixed, £60 doesn't seem bad?

Good to know in case I end up doing it!

Hopefully you don't do it lol but here is the website.

Nice bloke, came out to my work and took the alloy off and back to his unit. You'd never know there had been any damage to the alloy now.

Bought a silencer delete pipe and just had it fitted!

Sounds a little bit louder, not quite as loud as I was expecting but not bad for £70 all in!
