Bluetooth Not Working

Hi guys

So my bluetooth in my 2010 zetec s has been working perfectly. Yesterday when I went to get in the car and connect my phone, the bluetooth in the car didn't turn on. So I tried to connect manually... Still no joy. I have tried searching from my phone to find the car and It won't find it. My phone connects to everything else just not the car.

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance

Reset the bluetooth module by unplugging it for a few minutes.

It's tucked up under the dash.

one of the fuses - same thing happened to me. your cars manual should have a diagram - i'm not sure if it's the same for the refresh, but unplugging it and plugging it back in worked fine

Will the fuse just be called 'bluetooth' or something to do with the radio?

hi, had my focus for few days, and couldnt use the bluetooth properly. it would connect via bluetooth (iPhone 4 to 6000cd), but wouldnt make or recieve calls. it worked jusg the once whilst but never again. i thought i eliminate everything before touching fuses and unplugging the battery, such as settings, previous connections, human error, etc.

it turns out i needed to "reset network settings" on my iPhone 4. since then its worked a treat.

heres a few other things you can try if you have an iPhone....

hope this helps (someone)

The module is under the glovebox. undo the two screws holding the shelf in place and it will drop down to reveal the module. Unplug and reconnect.

Have you checked your phone though.

Well Spoken Waffel

Thanks for your pointers. Fixed mine by unplugging all the 15amp fuses (the manual said 15 for the bluetooth).

Back in then scanned for my phone again ok.

Thanks

Just fixed wife’s 2015 fiesta that wouldn’t connect to phone or steering wheel vol/phone control   Under the glove box are 4 black grommets holding a bit of fibre trim in place two small ones hold trim in place yet large ones hold bluetooth module in place. Disconnect two lead connectors going to this box. Give it a couple of mins then reconnect Job done
