Modified Rsparts Splitter

some of you who have the splitter would have noticed that when the car is washed or if it has rained that the water sits on the splitter. This got me thinking...what if it had an angle/slope on it?

So, i purchased another splitter and made this

and then finally got round to fitting it and now it looks like this

next on the agenda is the custom number plate - i have had the vinyl made and it has been delivered and yesterday i picked up some blank number plates - i originally intended to place the vinyl on the back of my number plates but it has double sided tape so blanks were the better and easier option.

it will have a variation of this

I purchased the splitter off eBay and now have my old one up for sale soon - will clean it and take pics before placing an advert on this forum.

The blue clip is a towing hook - its for aesthetics only though.

Nice bro.

Did you paint it yourself, if so have you got a how to thread.

i just used normal bodyshop filler and used Lidl spray paint cans - it has colour and lacquer in one so makes it easy to get a good finish.

I just filled the space in from the top of the lip (where it meets the bumper) to the front of the splitter using a flat piece of metal to make sure i got it as even as possible and then used a sanding block and applied a few more coats of filler as required. Then a few coats of paint and hey presto!

Splitter looks great,

A set of black headlights would finish off the front nicely mate,

What is the tow strap attached to ?

Dont say a confetti cracker

Im planning to fit an ST front and rear end before new years like starting around 22:00 on 31st December

Lol Lenny you always crack me up!

The strap is attached to the undertray...using a 12mm bolt that came with it. Dont know why i didnt use an m6 bolt and a washer come to think of it. Ih well its on now.

Headlights will be fitted soon. Its our Eid tomorrow (xmas) so will be busy all weekend

Will hope to git them during the week

Happy Celebrations mate,

M12 or M6 with a 25mm penny washer shir tis all the same,

Would be epic hooked up to a washer jet hidden in the grill or confetti tube next to exhaust,

In the event you were double parked and they tried to tow from it.
