Intermittent Judder When Idle

Hi,

I have a 55 plate Mondeo 2.0 TDCI.

A couple of weeks ago the car went into limp and stopped. Took it to the garage and they diagnosed faulty injectors. They replaced all 4 injectors and re-checked for faults and none found.

After getting the car home the car started to judder intermittently every time the car was at idle. After a few days the problem hadn't resolved and I retuned the car to garage and they replaced the injectors.

I have just had the car returned and possibly have the same problem, though not as bad. After driving a short distance the car will judder for a few seconds and then return to normal running, as as before is was continuously juddering intermittently.

Garage didn't change fuel filter, and when I asked why they said it wasn't the fuel filter as the judder is intermittent.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What fault codes did they give you?

Hi,

I don't know what codes were initially given when it broke down, but the AA man said at the time that it maybe either Injectors, fuel pump or fuel filter.

After the garage first "fixed" the problem they said there were no error codes and when I took it back to them there still was no error codes, but they thought the problem was a faulty injector that they installed.
