I know this gets done to death but I am convinced there is something not right with the high pressure fuel pump on my Focus. At above 1500rpm there is a noticeable ringing in the car. Local dealer has come up with the stock answer of " they all do that" but it certainly isn't right. It also "flutters" sometimes when you give it the boot around 3-4000rpm. I've recorded a video but it doesn't really pick it up well, any ideas? keep pestering the dealer? I don't want to have to drive about with the radio on or windows open to drown it out!

Yes after 5 years he got rid of the car.
