Willy
My new ST thread can be found here. Back in 2013 I decided to trade my beloved Focus ST and down size to the Fiesta. I loved the ST but MPG (22ish ;) ) was a serious issue in the end. So, in 2013 I purchased a new Fiesta Titanium 1.0 125 bhp in Midnight Sky with the Dress up kit. Seen here in standard form outside the dealership with the old ST. Over the 2 years of ownership I modified the little fiesta and will list them all right here...... The Front The Side The Rear The first modification was....... Will-MK7
Very nice car mate, looking at doing he mountune stripes and the mirror caps myself! I can also see why you traded in the focus as I was looking to get one and just didn't want to be putting fuel in it all the time! Cablelad
Was sick of feeding my old Focus ST, having a lead lined right foot did not help with matters either. Do I miss it? Okay, the little 1.0 is not as quick, but is just as fun to drive and way, way, way cheaper to run. That's one fine build thread Willy, loving that gel MR165 badge where you get it?

Stoney871
That really is far easier and quicker than the Focus one.
Stoney871
My bad, I thought you fitted a short throw gearstick not the adaptor bracket on the gearbox linkage. Just researched the Focus one, got me thinking and the credit card twitching now. ;)
Willy
Mountune Short Shift Arm arrived today :) After 3 hours of swearing, grazed and blooded hands I decided I'd give up on this mod for the day. What didn't help was the fact that I damaged a little plasic part and couldn't get it to fit afterward. Now, 2 days later I've temporarily installed the new short shifter and ordered a replacement part. All I have to do now is endure the pain and bloodshed again when my replacement part arrives. On the plus side the short throw is definitely noticeable and a little bit stiffer. So all in all I'm happy with the results. I would advise getting someone else to install it for you though ;)
Stoney871
Well my Steeda bracket is on it's way. Hopefully less fuss than yours. Which plastic bit did you damage, car part or bracket part?
