As it's 'ford parts' I'd hazard a guess and say 'not really'....

That being said, I stuck a mk2.5 centre console into my mk2 (pretty much a straight swap). It's exactly the same as the mk2.5 layout, access to the handbrake is reduced, but not by much really. Arm rest is a brilliant additional comfort...

Any obstruction will be minimal and you will soon adapt.

Did the same as Ianb with a centre console swap and found no difficulties at all.

It may not be a ford part .As Armster made or make for all makes & models & looks like the one i had fitted in my mk1.5 esp. Quality product.

Let us know how you get on, especially with ease of fitting. Why won't it fit to pre-2005 facelift models?

Looks official as has a FINIS number....

I have ordered this part. It would appear there are some differences in Fusion models, as the parts Dept insisted on me measuring the gap between the front seats before ordering. I will take pictures as I fit.
