jace1969
This just to see what people think. I did my heater surround gloss black and fitted it a few months ago, came out ok. I still have my spare one out the car in silver. I get LOADS of dust on the black one and thinking of swopping it back to silver, stereo is bad enough. The black might look a bit better but i don't think the silver looks that bad either. Just your opinion on it,i see there are only i think 3 main ones. Silver Piano black (high gloss in my case) Matt black (like in ST) i think
darvvader
Can you post some pictures so we can have a look? My centre console I sprayed black and it's not too bad dust-wise.

Of the dust lol :) Its like the radio being the sony black one,i can try and get a pic of the black surround in but you won't see a lot just the surround. Tried the static cloth on the radio and surround and a few days later bits are on it again. See what this is like, cleaned it 2 days ago,bit of glear through window. MPX309
I just give it a wipe with some dash wipes every 3 days or so. Don't really get much dust but I also clean the caperts once a week too . . . Might sound odd but having clean carpets helps reduce dust build up (well that's someone said a computer enthusiasts yt channel in regards to case dust build up)
TitaniumWhite
Mine is a Sony radio in Piano Black and the dust does settle on it. Dust is highly reflective and when the light catches it, there is no escape from its evil clutches. ^_^ Cleaning the carpets and upholstery does help, as they release a lot of the damn stuff. Just try hitting your seats and watching the dust spray out. On saying that, I love the Piano Black and would not swap it for silver or matt black. I damp-wipe mine over and then use the vacuum with the brush to suck-up the dust that's left.
