L666JER
You made the correct decision to hedge it instead of the unbearable alternative - at the end of the day it's just a car & not comparable in any way to the value of two lives So, in spite of the excess speed & the abs being disabled - i salute you for taking evasive action & acknowledging your error of judgement :) Thanks. Rest assured my driving style has changed a lot since then.
jmurray01
Bought all the parts to do it. Then I measured the wheelbase on both sides, it's 3/4" longer on one side than the other, which in engineering terms is about 3 miles. Fantastic car to drive, hate myself for crashing it. Had a choice between a land rover and a hedge, chose the hedge. Saved killing me and my friend, but all because I was going far to fast - and the abs was disabled You made the right decision, and admitted that it was your fault. Can't say fairer than that.
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Thanks. Rest assured my driving style has changed a lot since then. Without doubt the best statement I've read on here for months . . . :)

Philf1
Nothing makes you see the error of your ways than the impending thought you might die. However trust me the feeling will pass and will return to previous habits I know it has happened to me Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
jeebowhite
a friend of mine had a crash recently, her Fiesta is a true write off, and no wonder.... She slipped on ice, lost control and a car was coming the other way, she hit the car and then this happened... Sadly the bottom of the car you see is her Fiesta :(
Ianb
It would appear your friend has more of a corsa style about her no?
jeebowhite
Sadly. Thankfully she is OK and didn't have the little one with her. I remember when she first got the car, sadly it won't be back on the road. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
Maxxxykins
Saw this on my way to work, must've skidded in the wet and gone across the road into this ditch.
jmurray01
This is what really irritates me about drivers. They slow right down when not required and when it actually is icy/wet, they speed along at 80.

Looks like it had the "downwards opening tailgate" optional extra.
alexp999
This happened yesterday not far from me (that's a NSL dual carriageway they are on): http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/14293815.UPDATED__Car_left_hanging_off_bridge_after_crash_on_Puddletown_bypass/?ref=erec

That won't have helped matters, especially if it has been sitting in the boot for years unused (as most spares are).
Maxxxykins
"Ford Kuga savagely attacked by Vauxhall Van" dont fully understand how they were both going in the same direction if they had a head on collision though? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/how-happen-police-investigate-how-9453620
Stoney871
I'd say that the van hit the postbox (looking at the damage pattern), flipped 180 degrees and then the Kuga hit the side of the van. jeebowhite
Goes to show, even the highest standard of police training is no match for the mighty destructive force of the vauxhall. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
Stoney871
Why is it that when a Vauxhall decides to end it's own life it always takes others with it. Bit of a murder/suicide thing going on. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Ianb
Definitely seems to have a more "limited edition corsa" vibe to it...
Maxxxykins
Some sort of shark, Nooooo Knight rider KA: No words.. Not sure what is on the passenger seat..
