Mk1 Focus Orange Gear Adjuster Help

I was changing the transmission oil and pushed the orange adjuster and only realized know that I shouldn't of know my gears aren't smooth like they used to be almost lumpy and clunky, any idea how to get it back right I don't want to touch the adjuster with out some knowledge of what I'm doing thank for all the help people and I used the correct grade oil any help really appreciated, I have a picture of it but don't know how to upload

I'm assuming he's refering to the coloured insert clips in my above post as they are red orange in colour

Hi, sorry to hijack this post... Mine has issues with 2nd and 4th would this be the same reason? I have to really try hard sometimes to get the gears mentioned, sometimes it wont go in then it will try to grind and sometimes when i think the gear is selected it pops out...

It's driving me mad!!

I hope some one can shed more light on your issue , things seem a bit dead on this forum, and if your cars popping out of gear I think it could be other issues to what I'm having, can any one help us a bit more???
