Hi all hope some one can help me with this one am scratching my head now!!

Got a MK11 Mondeo estate 2.0 petrol.

The handbrake warning light stays on all the time.

The brake fluid level was a little low so i topped it up still the light stay on.

I went to a salvage yard and got a replacement switch the light still stays on!!!

When i pull the handbrake on the light gets brighter and when i put it off it gets slightly duller!!

Any help/advice folks would go a long way here thanks.

check to see if the wire running from the reservoir to the dash light is permanently earthed, if so its a wireing fault. if not your pads could be low.
