hi

so dont know if its possible or just coincidence but i started having trouble with the heating in my car just after i found the drivers foot well wet.

i can't find the leak (tbh haven't had time to look properly) but wondered if my coolant bottle could have leaked into the car.

thoughts?

thanks

It will not be your expansion tank.

Your heater matrix has more than likely split and begun to leak

do your heaters work.

do ford still position the pollen filter under the passenger footwell. as sometimes these can block or a seal will leak. worth a look under the dash. but it's pretty uncomfortable getting into position

It's a 1999 car so I wouldn't say "still"

I'd say "did they" ;)

6l of water on the windscreen/pollen filter/matrix and guess what no leaks. least of the problems when you need a headgasket fml
