I'm wanting to hard wire in a dash cam and tracker, does anyone know of a fuse that has permanent live attached such as the OBD port fuse. Can't seem to find it in the owners manual.

Stoney makes and sells wiring looms to make fitting it easy. He should be able to tell you what fuse too from doing his own car. He should be on here later.

Cheers buddy, it'll be good to get some insight :) The fiesta was so much easier to wire things into!

Use Fuse 61 in the passenger footwell which is the supply to the power sockets.

It goes live on unlocking the car and powers off a few minutes after locking.

Are there no perm live fuses within the car then?

For the Tracker I presume? Probably would help if it was permanently powered!;)

For anything with a small battery such as trackers and some dash cams. I'd rather not have the worry of the object running out of charge :) I've used dashcams before which need resetting if battery runs out :'(

Fuse 66 could be a contender as it's the drivers door unlock supply.

There aren't that many permanent live fuses in the mk3 coming from the interior panel.
