Alternative To Foxit Phantom: Not Acrobat But Pdf Architect?

I've been using Foxit Phantom since version 1.0, when I decided Adobe Acrobat was too expensive for my pdf needs.

There's nothing wrong with Acrobat per se ,apart from it's ever increasing bloatedness and paying a premium price for the Adobe name.

Anyway, I've left it a bit long to qualify for the reduced upgrade price with my current version of Phantom, so I'll have to start all over again, with the full price for v7.1

A spot of Googling, made me aware of PDF Forge's PDF Architect 4.0 which is slightly cheaper than Phantom (£99 instead of £125), except I'm not familiar with it.

Has anyone else heard of it, or better still use it?
