nicima
I am still trying to workout what to try and use for the first time detailing my car fully, it has a fair few swirl marks from previous owner and is now 10 years old - so i feel its going to need some right work done to it to get it clean. Im interested to hear what products people use when detailing their car - especially clay and lube sprays, polish, glaze and waxes. I have read so much information about a fair few products now but would really like to hear some first hand opinions. Some say don't use Autoglym - dodo juice isn't that great - auto finesse isn't a good one - so I'm a little lost
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Autoglym is good enough for the Royal Family's collection of fairly priceless vehicles & it's also been good enough for me for longer than i can remember . . . :)
TomsFocus
Can't swear by anything on here with that filter... ;) I use a mixture of brands, I find all of them have some products that aren't great, and others that are really good. I am on a budget though so don't go for the outright best. I tend to use Mer shampoo, Auto Glym super resin polish and Poorboys nattys paste wax for a 'good' clean. Autoglym bumper restorer is good for the plastic bits. And Meguiars endurance gel is good for tyres, though messy to apply. Also have some time saving 'cheats' as well lol, like a clay mitt which works surprisingly well, G3 quik detailer for a quick 'spruce' in the summer, and some water activated 'rinse-off' wax for when I don't have time for the proper stuff. Everyone will have different favourite products. :)
