Hi I have a 2001 Ford Focus 2.0l and got a 1.6 crankshaft sensor from a scrapyard can I try it on my 2.0 to see if it works or will it make it worse

Thanks mate. Just my car is cranking over but won't start went the a (lake) which looked like a puddle. So now I have changed the plugs leads and coil pack and still nothing so any help would be grateful

For what they cost might as well get a new one think I paid a tenner for 1 online. According to what I read 1.6 and 2.0 are the same so you could try it.

Not 100% sure it is that so don't really wanna keep buying parts if it's not that

might be best to get it on the diagnostic test to see how much damage has been done

waters not a good thing to have in the engine bay

Hi

Can i clarify,

it went through a lake ?

Did it ingest water (suck up water through the air filter

its obviously turning over so it hasnt aqualocked

Thought it was a little puddle but when went in to it was like a lake and it was driving fine that day then 2 days later won't start just cranking over just don't start
