jtalep
So this evening, I clumsily decided to get too close to what was a harmful looking kerb. Whilst my alloy thankfully seemed to have escaped the worse, my tyre doesn't look to have faired as well. I've never damaged a tyre in this way before, so I've no idea if it's just cosmetic or if I need to look at changing it asap. Unfortunately all the local garages have now closed, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to know for sure, but if anyone here has any input it would be much appreciated. Russ
New tyre I'm afraid, due to the cut in the sidewall it is weakened and could 'blow out'

StevenST13
Yep new tyre unfortunately and only drive if you really need to until you get one. Hitting a pothole or something could easily blow the side wall now.
