Handley001 Posted January 19, 2016 Share Posted January 19, 2016 Im new the this, ive just traded my 2007 focus 1.8 tdci with 160k on in for 2008 mondeo 1.8 tdci edge 100ps with 93k on, the mpg are crap compared to the focus, and the miles to empty keeps jumping down by about 10 miles everytime i start her up and then slowly climbing back up is this normal??? BOF Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 At this point, the previous will still be influencing average figures on the dash display, so you need to give it longer (and, if you bought it from a dealer, they may have moved it around their lot quite a bit, so that would make it worse, too).
