Anyone successfully converted the front end of a mk7 (prefacelift) to a mk7.5 (facelift)?

Has anyone successfully put a facelift (mk7.5 ) front onto a prefacelift fiesta (mk7)?

My question is what parts would I need and how to go about the DRL'S.

Also were there any issues or anything else that I should know?

I know it's an expensive job as so far the only advice I have managed to find is that financially it's not worth it. I'm still going ahead with this so any advice would be much appreciated.

Would be interesting to see if it is possible, but in terms of costs I would just purchase a MK7.5, to answer your question and by just looking at the front ends I would say

1. the Bonnet needs to change

2. front nose

3. lights

4. fog lights

5. grill

6. bonnet logo

internally I do think it's still the same vehicle

Yes it's possible, seen at least 4 on Facebook, hardest bit is swapping the wiring for the headlight plugs.

loads of STs etc being broken on eBay for the bonnet bumper and lights.

Yeah parts won't be a problem. I would just love to know all the ins and outs as these kind of conversions usually have their issues for which there are workarounds.

Would love to see a complete project fully logged, just so I know what I'm in for.
