Lenny Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Strange its not allowing guide to be viewed mate, Here's the exact DRL's fitted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320923946094 I have images in my archive which can help with fitting I'll post them here for you, The DRL's are E4 marked road legal Osram led units there not low quality items. The kit comes with a fully insulated wiring loom which has a piggy back fuse adaptor; plugs in to the ignition fuse socket in the engine bay fuse box. There's only one wire you need to connect yourself and thats the blue wire to the positive feed on passenger headlight parking bulb, This automatically dims the DRL by 50% when parking lights are active. The drls operate at 3.4v This is why there are two black box's contained in the kit which reduce 12v from the car to 3.4v for the DRL's I've mounted these box's on the rear left hand side of the battery box using some M5 bolts and lock nuts which keeps them out of sight away from excessive heat and overall keeps everything looking stock. As standard; The drls will come on when the engine is running, I have fitted a rocker switch to the pocket next to OBD diagnostic socket in the drivers footwell which allows me to run off the drls This is a nice option if you ever want to have engine running but no lights on atall. I can show you how to do this aswell if required. I later removed them and had sprayed gloss black Optional over ride switch enabling DRL's to be switched off while engine running. No problem I don't mind atall, No sealant required mate; you will need to purchase a 19mm or 20mm hope saw to make a hole in the bumper to fit DRL loom through Preferably a 19mm bit as it's the same size required when fitting rocker switches or projector puddle lights. Remove both headlights at start for easy access Red ring but there is H11 fog bulb Yellow label is DRL loom warning tab saying there lower than 12v.
