So I've had a few dash cams and theve not been to bad but the problem I'm having is storage, as both my old fiesta got keyed I want it to store enough memory to record the last 24 hours and be at good quality at night so I probably need at least 128gb.

The most I've spent is £75 on one do I understand I'll need to pay a lot more haha, any suggestions please? Also I want it to recorded 24/7

i don't think you would find one that can record that long plus it would flalten your battery

i have a swan view cam on mine from the side of the house but that cost over £300.

i can recommend a powerucc panorama 2s it has a parking mode for 24/7 recording but to save on space it only save recordings 10 seconds before motion is detected to 60 seconds after no motion is detected so the card isnt filled with nothing clips

i have a power magic conected to my dash cam so after 72 hours or the battery drops below a user set level it automatically switches off preventing a flat battery.

to be fair the pano 2 only uses 160ma in parking mode so its going to take a while to flatten the battery

I used this one in my BMW and have taken it out for my Fiesta. It has a battery monitor built in and you set the minimum voltage so not to flatten the battery. I think you get around two weeks before it stops recording. It's on motion detection when parked and the picture quality is superb.

Anyone tell me where a permanent live is on a 2014 Fiesta ecoboost please. On the BMW I wired straight to the battery in the boot and fed the wires neatly behind all the trim.

Not the cheapest, but, front 1280p and 780p rear cameras, google mapping, GPS, impact sensors, date and time.

Hard wired and always ready.

You only get what you pay for, and regret it when you needed it and didn't have it.

I use one of those power magic pros connected to a blackvue DR650-2CH, which works perfectly in my other vehicle.

Great bit of kit just a tad expensive

All my previous cams have actually been running all the time but they could only manage to store Upto about 12 hours of footage, also had no battery issues.

You mean CCTV?

Sounds good but how sensitive is the motion detection?? It sounds very similar to the one I have but when someone walks by at night it doesn't detect it
