Just need some advice,

I lost control in ice on saturday and curbed the passenger front wheel. Bent a track rod/ steering arm end? (think thats what he said). had a new one fitted (£50 fitted). it's a non genuine ford part but does this really matter? Also, is the track rod end for the ST a special one for that car or is the same used on all MK7 fiestas?

Cheers

If its not a genuine ford part, doesn't it VOID warranty? (Depending if its within warranty still!)

As a rule of thumb aftermarket parts are generally a lot cheaper for a reason. Although countering that argument would be the over-inflated main dealer prices for some genuine parts. I've found ford parts uk online to be the best of both worlds.

Cheers guys, had the part fitted and tracking sorted and it drives perfect again. Need some new rubber now.
