Furjaniz
The Ford Fiesta 2003 Duratec 8V has its power windows operation only when the ignition is switched ON. It is really not practical, Does anyone altered the wiring so that the windows operate with the ignition key in the OFF position?
laumk7
Why would you want to open the windows when the car is off / locked?

TomsFocus
You'll drain the battery putting the windows up and down without the engine running anyway. It is annoying when you park and switch off the engine THEN remember to close the window though, but you can just switch ignition on without engine to put the window up. What I found more strange on the Mk6 Fiesta is that the door has to be closed to operate the windows! Can't really understand the point of that myself lol.
