I know this is another topic but does anyone know if you can change the stupid compass on the home screen for the speed limit that is shown on the nav screen. I have no idea what the latest version is or where to get it. Do you know and also what the cost is? It looks like Ford dropped the ball with the compass thing. As the screen updates to show the road your on you would think that showing the speed limit for that road would be a much more useful feature than a compass. But based on all installation instructions, it seems that this is impossible and not worth to try :)... So I decide to buy a newer SD card on eBay, version F4 to F6, but how can I be sure that it will work on my SYNC II system. Under eBay description it is somewhere said, that card will work only with sony system and that it is compatible with US. But don't have sony entertainment system and I have EU car. How can I be sure, that SD will work like plug and play in my car? I read somewhere, out of this forum, that this type of navigation SD card need to be configured with a car serial number and eBay cards are crap? Is that true or not? What should I be careful when I'm buying this SD cards? I found the thread after my local Ford dealer quoted me £232 to update the map (yes £232!). After I stopped laughing, I declined the upgrade and began googling. Secondly, I have noted the "install at your own risk" statements and wondered if there is any 'backup' option in case something goes belly-up?
