spitfire123
hi all, i was just wondering if anyone new if an old 97 z-tec s fiesta could be re-mapped? as i was considdering doing it as she runs to rich anyway. so if re-mapping is possible what sory of HP should i be expecting? the engine is the 1.25 motor...(79hp i think it is standerd) and its quite ALOT faster than a standerd fiesta as it is... the only upgrades ive done is a RM AIR KIT and a Free-Flow backbox/de-baffled but with bigger than standerd downpipe (cat is still there). cheers all. :P

Reaper
It could be down to the Ram Air induction kit you have.. I'd suggest either.. disconnect the battery for 15mins to reset to stock values.. or putting the stock air filter back on to see if that makes any difference.. if it running rich it could be you air 2 fuel ratio that's out.
