Sidelights/Headlights/Foglights Circular Switch

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's easy to replace the little light bulbs that illuminate the Sidelights/Heaglights/Foglights on my mk1.5 2004 Focus? Do you have to remove the whole dashboard, or can you access them just at the actual surround of the circular switch?

Thank you,

Liam.

Hi, I have just fitted a new switch. To remove it you need to remove the tray under the column and then remove the cover around the switch. There are 3 screws holding the switch in. If you want I can take pics tomorrow to show you how to remove and how to take apart the switch.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for this info, appreciated. It's ok, I know what you mean.

But, if I do run into problems, I'll give you a shout

Thank you for offering to take pics!

Liam.

The lights are LED's and will need to be de-soldered and then new one's re-soldered into place. I can do a how to guide if you need one.

to get the cover off you need to have the switch in park mode.
