Geraldine Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Hi Everyone This was my dad's and when he died it came to me, 1997 Escort LX Hatchback, it's only done 50 thousand from new, recently passed it's MOT and is in use, trouble is the reason it's so low mileage is that it had a fire inside and it needs a new interior, has anyone got one of these that they are breaking? Can anyone answer a question please, My Escort shown at the top, I keep seeing people saying Escort Mk4 or 5 or 6 etc, what exactly is mine? Is it a Mk anything or just a 1.4 LX? Can anyone help with this question, I found a set of half leather seats and had them shipped from wales on a pallet, when they arrived and I had a look at them I find that the drivers seat has got a switch on the front right edge of the seat, What is that for ?
