Wheels93
They are relatively new yes. Been out around 6months or over but finally had chance to get mine on. The fiesta's have a spoiler extension too. At the time of writing I can't remember if it's mountune or Triple R that do them (or both?) Cheers for the compliment pal
Iam2deck
Hey all, Been a little while since I've posted, been rather busy with work with summer starting to arise.. Still trying to find time to do bits though and I have which I will now be sharing with you! So the first modification after my last one posted was a Richbrook Short Aerial, to get rid of that massive dodgems style thing they come out the factory with.. Has the Ford logo in black & white on it and looks quite OEM so that's decent. Have also had no issue what so ever with radio stations for those worried/wondering about it. Original; Modified (Richbrook); The next modification was a performance based one. The Alloy stainless steel crossover pipe from Auto Specialists (to match the PRO Hose (red secondary) that I added before. The car seems to have improved a bit at the end of gear 2 and especially gear 3 feels more responsive now too. The dump sound is again more refined, not so much louder, it just sounds cleaner and crisper (think the secondary adds most of the noise). Found a good deal online from a guy passing one on, he bought some kit and then was only 2 weeks later before he traded it in for an ST so I guess I got lucky! Makes the engine bay pop out a little, love the chrome crossover with the red writing it fits in perfectly with my theme. Really happy with it! Okay so another modification, I think I've mentioned it before but I got my hands on an engine cover for like £15 or something cheap! Looked a bit bland and boring as it came, and the material is rubbery so gonna be hard to get it painted as I don't know what to use. For now, I did my own little thing on it but it's not completed.. Will be adding some red somewhere, possibly over the ECOBOOST and FORD writing with the white background lines. Original look; Modified (White Paint Pen); Kind managed to fit it to the car, however it seems a very tight squeeze and when I get a primary induction hose it's definitely going to have to be cut to made fit I reckon. PS Hope you all noticed that I scrubbed and cleaned all the engine bay compartments I could so it would look decent ahah! I was having quite a bit of fun in the engine bay today so decided to do once last thing while I was in there.. Wanted to colour code the fuse box cover on the right with my red scheme, is really easy to take off so thought what the hell I'll go for it! Used a colarado red, the colour of my interior trims. You can see the original in place unpainted in the image above these words. Unpainted, sorry is a bit blurry for some reason! Rubbed down with rubbing alcohol, wire wooled it over to scratch it up so the paint can adhere to it. Used 3-4 coats of the spray paint and 3 coats of clear on top, came out really well. Fitted onto the car; Next mods were a few more lighting upgrades; Osram Nightbreaker Cool Blue Dipped & Standard Fogs; Standard Main Beam; Upgraded with bulb replacements from Car Enhancements UK (popular on facebook pages). Got fog lights, main beam and tail/brake light upgrades added; All the bulbs seem brighter and better, the fog lights are a very crisp white compared to the yellow normal ones around the same intensity probably a tad better. The main beam probably has just SLIGHTLY better intensity and output, but as the light is white instead of yellow, that helps alot too and makes things clearer. The brake light upgrade is definitely brighter and stronger, although has oranged them a tad up close. Now enough of the modifications.... Got some good pics of the car's first wax. Used triplewax shampoo, simoniz quick shine detailer & dodo juice purple velvet wax (specifically designed for dark colour cars.. hard wax). Later in the day came out for more shots when the sun wasn't glaring over the camera; For those wondering, the 'rare' package mod I was supposed to be doing is still being sorted. Got them items back but the paint job again was dire.. Trying to work out a way to fix the paint as it's scratched and some red is on it.. Getting a quote from a friend that knows a professional sprayer. Then hopefully will get them on... been a long time coming. Also have something else to collect next week or the week after that should help the way it looks and give it a sportier feel ;) (Take note of last pic to work out what I'm talking about) I'll keep ya posted if I'm not too bogged down! Thanks for reading!
Iam2deck
Cheeky spoiler alert... Managed to bag myself these for a stupid price (do quite good at getting bargains..) was only used for a week less than 300 miles on them! These are Eibach's red/sport line springs which I believed they developed a bit after there pro kit. Went with Eibach as Ford promote them themselves, and they have a good reputation among all different cars. Was looking at the pro kit but the drop was 30 front and rear which was a bit less than what I was hoping for as I need to close those arch gaps! The red/sport line springs have a 35 drop on the front (ideal for running splitters etc, shouldn't scrape too often) with a 45 drop on the back which sounds ideal. Managed to secure them for £100, they RRP at £180+delivery and these have only been used for a week! Bargain... Will have to find a few hours to put them on but don't know when that will be ! Have also made another bargain purchase last night, wasn't entirely sure I needed this mod straight away but for almost half the price brand new I just bit the bullet and went for it.. Hope it pays off (no spoilers on that one)..
Tom-B64
That's a steal for that price! I reckon it's gunna sit real nice when you fit them and they're bedded in.

I know right! Couldn't quite believe the guy went for it, was oriinally wanting 130 but came down for me alot :P Can't wait to get them on, have never lowered a car before so interesting to see what difference it makes to the ride comfort and handling.. These aren't mega drop springs or coilovers so should be more than okay with a brand like Eibach! I think I'm supposed to get the tracking done after about a week - 2 weeks after they're on and settled right?

Yea I'd only ever go with Eibach's tbh, they're recommended and trusted by Ford so you can't really go wrong. My mate who fitted his the other day done the tracking straight after he put the springs on, so I have no idea if you should do it straight away or after a couple of weeks
Iam2deck
From what I've read around and heard I think you're supposed to leave it a bit to let them settle in and then get it done when they're all bedded. Just randomly found out that they don't RRP at £180 like I originally thought, that was a special offer. In fact, they are now £378 from Pumaspeed. Jesus christ would not be seen spending that money, but hey what an absolute steal. This boy done good! Still need to find the time to put them on, have a few mods to do it's just finding the time...
Iam2deck
Whats up people just a minor update... Haven't found the time to do the springs and boost hoses yet which is sad.. Leave for a 6 hour cruise through Belgium into Germany for the Nurbough-Ring at the weekend and actually can't wait! Those mods should get done when I get back though One minor mod I have managed to do is spruce up the engine bay with some blue conduit pipes, gives it that extra layer of colour! Took a couple of pictures at a stop off on the way into work at 6.30 am as I was early... haha - warning// edited pics with some phone filters.. Was my 22nd Birthday yesterday, and bought myself a small gift for the car - should be arriving in a week or two! And last but not least, moving away from my paticular cars but staying on the car theme.. I just had an interview at Mercedes Benz World - Was successful and now have a week worth of training to do and if completed decently I'll have a job there working as a Drive Experience Host and helping people on their experiences (AMG Track Racing, 4x4 off roading, U17 driving, Wet skid circles the lot). Fingers crossed it all goes well.. then I'll be on the hunt for a Merc A class AMG hatchback ;) hahaha Didnt manage to get a picture of the front coming in, but its massive.. took a generic picture of the skid circle from the interweb for your pleasure below! Yeah a fairly easy fit, there are videos on how to do it but its only removing about 4 screws and disconnecting the brake light/washer, swapping the spoiler over and then reconnecting the brake light/washer. Only problem sometimes is that the length of wire is not long enough to pull through the extra so you may have to extend it. Check some videos out on youtube, and as basic/generic as the modification is it makes a big difference I'm using Team Heko wind deflectors, got them on eBay for £23 and that was 4 deflectors for the 4 windows I have :)

Guest
Any updates on this pal?
Iam2deck
Hello Hello! Been ages since I did an update as the new Windows on the PC !Removed! me over and I'm still trying to grasp it now, what a pile of crap! Anyway...I'll crack straight on with the modifications, alot has been done since the last time I posted! So the first modifcation after the nurburgring was I purchased some TRC eyebrows on my birthday.. Definitely give it a meaner look - good craftsmenship too Would definitely recommend the headlight eyebrows from TRC the paint finish was good and they seem a very good product, I would dodge the cheaper alternatives found on eBay etc. These are around £60 new. The next modification I decided to tackle was something for the interior as I noticed I had been constantly working on the outside visuals and some performance aspects. I decided to upgrade to Full heated leather seats with white stitch :) This included the fronts &the back seats. (the ST version is only half leather) - manage to grab a bargain for £150 and then sell my old set for £170 on eBay.. So making money on an upgrade, that's the way I role! These were my old set beforehand. Totally transforms the inside of the car, makes it look more costly and expensive and is SO much more comfortable if you ask me. Absolutely love this purchase as I feel the difference it's made every second I drive the car, defo one of the best mods by far. Moving on, due to the white stitch on the seats and my perceptions changing I decided to go for a smarter look with my car and started to take off the red parts that could have been seen to be quite chavy on the outside. So I debadged that red S on the front grille and changed my gel overlays for a better combination! Went with White writing on a carbon background to match the other carbon I have floating around :) Couldn't believe how much smarter these looked on the car, and the carbon background matches absolutely brilliantly with the dark chrome I wrapped on the back bar near the boot - see for yourself in the upcoming photos... The next modifcation was another one that seems to have changed the car's look completely - was on the hunt for these or something similar for ages, and luckily a friend was selling them at a much discounted rate to me as he knew I wanted something like this! Went to my friend's place of work to get them changed over.. He works at a huge land rover garage so felt a bit strange having 2 Fiestas in there :P Looks alot smarter running without the tacky red S badge and overlays. Much sleeker, and going for the stealth look especially with the gloss black 17" RIVA DTM alloys and eyebrows, further modifcations ive done will enhance this you'll see further down! Close ups of the wheels themselves.. What do you guys think? Haven't seen many/any with them on! As for the looks of the debadged red S badge and the smarter new overlays here are some pics to illustrate those; Stealth look is coming along nicely by this point, especially towards the front and back of the car. Had the car's first ever MOT due so went and did that.. They weren't over the moon about the carbon number plates I had so removed them on site fitted my old ones just to pass the car and then said just up to me if I want to put them on when I get back home.. So I have they liked the car and the mods, just had to be strict with passing the MOT. Everything else was golden! Never seen it done before :) The next few modifications have been overdue for a long time, and they have transformed the car alot. Well happy with this next lot, so without further adue.. Eibach Limited Edition Redline Springs (35mm drop on front, 45mm on the back) - Still low and cuts arch gap dramatically but perfect to run with front splitter etc. Before... the arch gap was very prevolent! During the process.. The new springs are the red ones, the standards are the black ones for anyone wondering Can see the difference in length of the springs in the middle picture!! Also while doing the suspension and springs, I thought it would be a good idea to re do my callipers in a glossy red this time rather than the crap metalic red from Halfords that started to peel off and look pink (see previous photos). Used a proper paint calliper kit this time with a brush instead of spray paint, come out 10x better and more vibrant. Red contrasts the black well which is why I chose it, white would get dirty so quick that it wasnt really an option! And to see them both together in 2 shots; Okay the next modifcation I've wanted to do for ages but it was just finding the time! I made a trip down to EMP performance in St. Albans to get a custom built stainless steel exhaust made and fitted to my car :) The cost was £350 for the cat-back system to be added to the car. Yes that's more expensive than alot of other exhaust places but this paticular one I have had experience with (seeing other peoples cars with exhausts done by them) and knew of their good reputation on social medias. I figured buy cheap buy twice so decided to go for it. Before doing the exhaust there was something else I really wanted, so I figured why not and got myself that to use with it.. went to pick it up ;) Anyway none the less all in good time.. This was the the EMP exhaust performance day It was a really nice scene and shop to get things done, I was waiting for the exhaust to be made and fitted for around 4 hours! It was a long wait but the work done is amazing.. So here you are this is the exhaust and the extra surprise part! The exhaust itself has been opened up and now has a 2" inch diameter all the way long the catback and opens up into bigger slanted slash cut tips. It was very different for me when I first got it and although enjoying it, it was very loud. That's because the backbox was one of the smallest the exhaust guy had made, it's quite narrow and small compared to the sporty off the shelf products like my friends milltek. In all honesty though, this has the loudness of a straight through, but has that nice crisp rasp you get from actually having a back box. So glad I went for the custom over the milltek, the milltek on my friends seems quiet now! It got some attention at Ford Fair, and all of our convoy members enjoyed the sound it made so thats always a plus getting compliments. The diffuser has the diffuser fins on the bottom and really seats it off to look mean like the front, its finished in gloss black so again helping that stealthed out dark look!! As I just mentioned, I was attending Ford Fair down at Silverstone race track on the 6th and 7th of August. We camped the Saturday and did the show Sunday. It was amazing and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. But because of this, my friends and I decided to give the cars something extra. I got a few stickers made from a well known designer to fit onto the car to fit in with the show :) Most were in grey tones to keep that Stealth look running well. Also for the prep before the show I made a new purchase, which was the new wax from ADS car care called Luminous. It's highly raved about since coming onto the market and I can see why. It was really easy to use, and we did both of our cars with it and still had atleast enough for 1-2 more cars. Put alot of work into the prep for the day but it was worth it :) Took some more snaps when we actually got to our camping location, and it was right next to the water so was a decent spot for photos too! Just gonna spam loads of convoy pictures and pictures I took of our cars whilst there. In our convoy there were; 3x Mk7.5 1.0 Turbo Fiestas 1x Mk7 1.6 Fiesta 1x Focus ST225 ---> Running about 400 bhp with Dreamscience Tuning. Wrapped in Baby Blue. 1x Mondeo ST 3.0l Well guys that was a big update and I hope you've enjoyed it, I'm really happy with the way the car is. The looks, the sound, its all mint. Obviously I still have more ideas and plans moving foreward but I am happy!! I already made a purchase at Ford Fair so once that's ready I'll be posting again to show you the progress of that :) If you want to hear sound of exhaust etc I can show you on Facebook, not a problem. Also have started a page called Surrey Customs on facebook which will be a place to show interest in modified cars, whether you own it or desire it. Looking at organising meets soon too so go give it a like and say hey.. My name is Matt Smith on the page. Thanks again and peace out
666Damian666
Starting to look good now as it looked like you had raided the Halfords bargain bin at one point Really liking the TRC rear diffuser and I think by getting some Zetec S/ST side skirts and a TRC front splitter, it would really finish it off nicely

Did look a bit chavy and over the top, much smarter now. The diffuser is awesome have wanted it for a while and sets the back end off. I've been looking for side skirts for the past 8 months to no avail, they are ridiculously hard to find for 5 models it seems. And the TRC splitter is on the agenda, but I'd need to find the zetec S facelift bumper extension to even fit it first! Thanks for the comments! 666Damian666
If you are talking about the small spoiler fin on the front bumper in the middle you don't need that for the TRC spilter, in fact I removed mine and it looks really good

666Damian666
Yeah sorry, I just checked your car out again and noticed u don't have the lip spoiler I thought u already had one fitted already (I'm guessing it's all that stealth making it hard to see properly, lol)
T1M FF
Liking the alloys and the look has changed dramatically certainly for the better, leather seats is a massive change for the interior and what a win on the price! Dan P
The car looks fantastic. Those wheels are great and the car sits a lot nicer now that it's been lowered. I can't believe you managed to make a profit on upgrading your interior, that's a brilliant result! Have you any plans to wrap your chrome strips on the sides?
