Mk2 Parcel Shelf Supports

Can anyone advise me how to remove the parcel shelf supports?

I have removed the two screws and pulled it but its wont come away 

Any Ideas Please?

Finally managed to remove them with a bit of a pull 

Hopefully have located the leak in the boot i had 

was the grommets leaking holding the rear lights in 

will see how it goes after sealing them with mastic 

if no good then 4 x grommets with seals will be needed 

thats if ever i can find the part Number :~)
