Changing Alloys

Hi,

I am new to this so sorry if this question has been asked allready!

I have recently bought a Fiesta Titanium and love it.... apart from one thing.... the alloys. It currently has 14inch alloys on it and they look to small for the car. I am looking at upgrading them to maybe a 15 inch or even 16 inch alloy but have a few questions.

1) is this even possible as i understand if you increase the rim size it could have an impact on your speedo?

2) I currently have 175/65 R14 tires on my alloys, if I were to buy 15 inch alloys what size tires would I need?

It says on the ford website if I wanted to have a 15 inch alloy to use a 195/50 R15 tyre or a 195/45 R16 tyre for a 16 inch alloy, is this correct?

Thanks in advance guys!
