can anyone  give a bit of advice as how to replace a fiesta 2009 Ariel base .

remove the interior lamp and unscrew the cable , remove.

put a lever/ flat blade screwdriver imbetween lamp assy and trim in centre front edge(nearest screen) and lever slightly to release clip

then undo screw attatched to cable(torx screw , think its a 20torx)

I have taken ariel base out but cant get the light back in properly metal plate wont stay in place to hold the light up  any idea's

not off hand i havent, cant remember how the plate is held in position.

have another look and see if you can figure it out.

failing that , i will have a look tommorow at a fiesta and see.

thanks  the metal plate does not seem to have any fixings just loose.

still no joy fitting light back in properly do you think the plate should be glued in ?

sorry about delay in posting again ian been away any luck finding  out about fixing interia light back in .

Hi, did have a look at 2012 fiesta, and couldnt see a metal plate, must have changed or spec level has different lamp/ surround.
