Remove n/s/f inner arch liner, then threres probably 4 security bolts holding cover on, they can be quite difficult to remove, easiest way is to cut a slot in bolt head and use large screwdriver to undo. I used a small grinder to make a slot.

But its rare to have ecu problems for missfire, who has diagnosed ecu?

Misfire's usually plugs/leads/coil rather than the ECU

If the TCM is inside transmission, does it mean that the car doesn't have PCM and it only has ECU?

Because PCM=ECU+TCM all in one?

the ecu diode issue was a mk1 issue that could cause a misfire I would doubt its that on the mk2 common issues are the plugs not being gapped right it should be 1.0mm not 1.3 second is using cheap nast leads only genuine Bosch leads third is the coil pack or the wiring to the coil pack also its recommended to use dielectric grease on both the spark plug and coil end of the leads
