I've just brought a performance cone air filter for my mondeo 2.0ltr tdci titamium x. When i was changing the air filter i noticed there was a MAS (mass air flow sensor) on the air box housing is there any way i can fit the performance air filter to my car without losing the mass airflow sensor and if i dont use the mass airflow sensor will it damage my car?

If anyone could help that would be great thanks

You cannot damage your engine if you do not use the MAF sensor. But why would you do so?

I've used with my mk3 tdci a performance filter from Piper Cross, which fitted in the airbox
