How can respray my alloys please

What do I use for changing colour of my zetec s alloys ???

Either sand them down use sandpaper or use a sandblaster to get all the old paint off smooth them out, prime and spray with temperature paint I said temperature paint because wheels tend to get host under braking but this is up to you.

The wheels don't get hot enough to need temperature paint. The brakes do, and to some extent the tyres will get warm, but the alloys won't be effected.

Is there some easier way what about plastidip???

They need sanded or blasted so the new paint is able to 'key' to the surface, why not get a mobile wheel refurb for around £180 for the 4 wheels?

Preparation is key, if you skip steps or don't take the time to do it properly it will look rubbish, if you want to do this mod you need to put the time into it to get a good result.

£180? For that money I could buy second hand alloys

That IS having them painted PROPERLY by a professional company.

That's what I mean, the OP is saying that the cost of a proper respray is the same as a set of used alloys, which I have pointed out would also need a professional respray over and above the cost of the used alloys.

For around 250-300£ you can get nice set of alloys no need to respray or refurb

And that's why I've had so many different sets of wheels and never had any refurbed!  

If you can do it yourself it's alright, but paint is one of few 'car things' that I can't do.  It's always worked out cheaper for me to buy new rims than have a pro refurb!

I made a post about this process and did it DIY at home with a friend. Took about 4-5 hours as we did callipers while waiting, there's a small little guide on it in my project page which you can find in the 'Ford Projects and Builds Thread' just look for my username as the OP :)
