Which timing belt kit?

Hi all,

I am just about to get a timing belt kit but there are several options/brands. Which should I choose or stay away from? Also, which locking tool is best?

I always use Contitech or Gates timing belt kits. Both are high quality parts that also produce OEM parts for many car manufacturers.

I use a locking tool kit and flywheel locking tool from Laser tools. These tools are perfectly fine for occasional use.

My local parts supplier only supply Dayco, SKF, and INA. I was hoping to pick one up over the weekend.

Any of those bands any good?

I installed all brands in the past (not on a Focus) without any problems. All 3 are respected brands. Hard to tell which will be the best.

My experience is that SKF timing belt kits do often come with Gates belts.
