13 plate focus drivers window fault

I have a periodic fault with my front drivers side electric window . On some occasions the window will power down ways when pressing the switch but will not come up ways when pressed . It will always work for going down even bit by bit but not for going up .It does eventually come up after loads of times pressing the switch . Sometimes it may only take a few attempts , other times it could be half an hour of trying . Getting very frustrated , does anyone of experience of this or maybe have a clue what is wrong.

Out of warranty when I reported it by 9 days & they wouldn't budge . That's Arnold Clark for you .

If you have had it serviced by Ford for all 3 services then take it to a different dealer.

There is usually a bit of discretion for problems only just outside warranty.

I was told by the dealer I bought my focus from that electrical parts/systems have a 4 year warranty. Maybe worthwhile to phone round dealers.

Only 4 yr warranty if you have taken out an extended warranty, you should ring ford customer services and explain your issue and ask for a goodwill gesture.

Is your car got 4 electric windows or 2?
