crazy_ace Posted May 10, 2016 Share Posted May 10, 2016 Basically I bought a 06 focus as my first car. Its great and all but the bonnet doesn't open. When I went to see the car, the previous owner had it already open and didn't think twice of it. When I got my insurance, the blackbox guy went to open the bonnet to find the whole key mechanism bit missing. Was wondering if any of you had this problem or could instruct me on fixing it. J87 Posted May 10, 2016 Share Posted May 10, 2016 sounds like they have removed the lock if there is no barrel there you can just put a long screwdriver into the gap and turn clockwise then anti clockwise. just use a torch to locate the gap 1st Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
