Ford Focus mk1 central locking fault

After some help and advice please

2000 (W) Focus 1.8 Zetec 123k

Some time ago my partner locked her keys in the boot and had to call out the RAC as she was miles from home (and the spare key!)
The guy from the RAC managed to open the car through the highline brake light. Ever since then the central locking didnt work on the key.

From the drivers door the car only unlocks only that door, i am aware that you turn it twice to unlock all doors but this doesnt work

However from the drivers door the car locks ALL doors when turning the key.

Its the same for the passenger door.

The boot release button on dash doesnt work either

I have unplugged the siemens module in drivers footwell and this has had no effect. Left it unplugged for over an hour.

Im after suggestions of where to try next please. The indicators flash when you lock the car and when you press the boot release so im thinking maybe it isnt a fuse either
