On my car, the leds that light the dials do Not light when parking lights are on, with Ign, off. I am sure that is normal.

The dials light with side lights on with Ign in pos.1 (Radio etc on), and in pos 2 (Ign On).

The LCD display lights with the central locking, and goes out quite a while after the car is locked, or left switched off.

IC lighting will be all internal to the IC, don't think any fuses or relays are specific to this purpose.

Maybe it's different on some cars? I am 99% sure IC lighting worked when switched on parking lights, ignition off. :)

Now, they work only when ignition on!

Can others comment if their IC lights turn on by switching on parking lights (1st position in the light switch - left side to the steering wheel).
