Another TPMS question 2015 Focus

Hi All

I know this has been gone over a few times but I have another question.

being a idiot i put new wheels on my car completely forgot about the TPMS sensors and sold my old wheels before the error message decide to pop up its annoying little head, leaving me with the dreaded TPMS error message.

i have a few questions:

1. Can I turn off or bypass the TPMS 
2. if not anyone know where to get cheap but good quality sensors from (i know cheap and good quality tend not to come in the same sentence but there must be something out there) 
3. if i were to buy new sensors do they have to be Ford or will it work with any sensor running 433MHz
4. if the sensors are new am i going to have to go to ford to program them or can this be done by the many on line guides (which tend to be for american trucks-but i assume work the same on Focus) or if someone has a working guide for the facelift 2015 focus it would be much appreciated

found these on eBay item no: 272252649580 - anyone know if they would work also found these eBay item no: 161718286245 being ford i'm sure they would work but not sure if Ford have different or coded sensors on the facelift models

The TPMS system can be deactivated in the Central Car Configuration. However you are not allowed to do this. European law prescribes that all vehicles that are registered after 01-11-2014 must have a (functioning) tyre deflation detection system.

 as wilko says , with diagnostic equipment that feature could be switched off, but it is now a legal requirement on new vehicles.i know your car is new but at 3yrs it will fail mot.

the ford sensors should be coded to each wheel in turn to the bcm module with a coding device. but ive spoken to someone on here who just fitted them on a fiesta and they registered after a short drive.thats ok as long as you dont have display that shows the pressures for each wheel.(smax/galaxy, mondeo)

On the late Focus MK3 and all MK3.5 vehicles that are equipped with the TPMS tyre deflation detection system there is no need to program the TPMS sensors. This is basically a self learning system. The self learning function can be activated by performing the following procedure:

After the wheels are changed the vehicle must be left untouched for at least 20 minutes. Next the system must be reset by performing the reset procedure inside the instrument cluster display. Finally the car must be driven for at least 12 minutes.

learn something new every day. lol suppose having the coding device is primarily for the vehicles i mentioned and the rest so the garage/customer doesnt have to wait 20 mins

Also seen a few people mention that the Jaguar / Land Rover TPM sensors can be used...anyone done this ??

seen a set of 4 for £50 which is a lot cheaper than i can find a Ford set for ....
