I plan to get a Nextbase 512G dash cam. Can anyone tell me if a mount sucker will get a good grip on the black hatched section of the windscreen behind the fiesta rear view mirror?

Its hit and miss...  On my original Focus screen the sucker stuck to the hatched area for about a year.  On the new screen (identical Pilkington to the old one) it won't stick at all!!

I have the 312GW version and like others have said, it can be hit and miss. Luckily it has stuck for me and has been there for 4 days now. Seems quite well stuck down.

Mines stuck on the 'black hatched section', falls off occasionally (mainly in the hot weather) but for 99% of the time it's fine.

I have my nextbase 512 stuck on the black section of the windscreen and it holds well, however it does tend to fall off in hot weather, as the black stuff tends to get alot hotter than the glass does although with english summers thats not to often
