Yes I have the 1.6 petrol model. But not towed anything yet as only got it done yesterday. But can let you know the 29th of this month as I've just booked a camping trip! Hoping to tow some motorbikes and quads in the future so will let you know on that too. But can't see it being a problem to be honest as I see smaller engine cars pulling big camper trailers.

Sorry mate completely forgot about this.

I pulled a 6x6 box trailer and i filled it up with my camping gear. My car pulled it with ease mate. Didnt notice I was towing it till I looked in the mirrors. I stayed at 60mph and when I needed the extra 5mph to over take it still pulled nicely.

Have you managed to tow anything yet

Sorry Mike just saw this today. Glad to hear all went well for you. That's Great stuff That gives me confidence it will do my job, No I have not came across anything yet but plan to now that xmas is over and the Bills are up to date lol! If you come across any deals online  let me know. I be looking to have it fitted for the summer time this year and also probably give it ago myself at the fitting.

Let me know when you come to purchase one and ill get some quotes for you. Found out one of my old mates fits them up and can get discount on some popular brands. 

My Tow bar has been getting used more than I thought. I recently took up mountain biking so thought i may aswell get a bike rack that attaches to the towbar.
