Striings
Hi guys, I have a Ford Fiesta 2009 plate. yesterday I was stuck in traffic for hours, my car started to shake, I had an engine management light on with also the dashboard coming up with engine service now. as I got out the traffic the car would rev up but wouldn't allow me to go over 20mph. I then pulled over and phoned for recovery but due to the floods it was a 3 hour wait. So my son was able to come out and help. After waiting for him, we decided to give it a try and to see if it will drive, we got it to the garage with no problem at all. The garage then plugged a diagnostic machine on my car and it came up with the following: P2108: throttle actuator control P2108: throttle body range/performance Can anyone advise me what to do? Does the throttle body need to be cleaned with carb cleaner and should be fine? Or is there a further problem? the garage also took it for a drive and what with there being no engine management light on now and no dash warning, it seems to be not coming back on and to be driving ok.
