Hi all!

Have a 53 plate Focus 1.8tdci and I'm looking to blank the EGR valve as I have read a lot of good feedback of doing so. 

Have bought the plate (stainless steel completely solid) but I am just wondering though where exactly does the plate fit? Is it on the left hand side just under the valve in the photo attached or the other end of the pipe on the right? Or does it not matter?
