HeadShoT2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 How do you remove the clips on the air pipe connecting it to the air box and throttle body on a 51 plate 1.6 ford focus. Never seen this type before, only seen jubilee clip one and one which you have to metal pin things which you have to squeeze with pliers and they open up wider. Any help appreciated. ;) these are quite common on cars nowadays, not sure on the real name for them but Halfords sell the tool for removing and installing them http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165469 a bit pricey but a must have for any serious about working on cars. you can use a pair of long nose pliers to remove them but it is fiddly.
