FMC
A few different suppliers, not sure if they are the same manufacturer but they look ok in the pics. Anyone got one fitted? If so, what's the quality 'feel' like? Easy to fit? etc http://www.european-parts.net/catalog/prod...products_id=957 Also this one: http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/translate_u...%26id_art%3d200

There will be a thread of comments on that site. There is also a very cheap (£25) one on the gbdriver site, for universal (non-tailored) use. A heavily padded one from Italy, can be found on eBay, at ~£85, which is about £7 dearer than the Armster.
Tyrefryer
Got my armrest two days ago. :D (Ebay € ~60.-) It is only attached with 3 small adhesive tapes, so it can be removed without leaving any drill holes B) Also replaced those plastic dowels (which hold the central console) with something more stable (had to cut a thread first) ;)
FMC
Tyrefryer - THANKS! I am really glad you've posted on here becasue my German is less than useful and even using a translation website i find it difficult to navigate the German fiesta-ka-forum.de!!! This is the best one i've seen so far! Fabric not leather and attractive mounting base too!
FMC
For anyone interested in a group buy, there's this note at the bottom of that eBay advert (in red): Note: For dealers and big customers we can make a good offer! Achtung: Für Händler und Großkunden können wir ein gutes Angebot machen! :)
eagle_gr
so , are we interested in a group buy?
FMC
I would be definitely, even if i could save a tenner lol
DanGull
Actually - that's clever. Maintains the cup holder as well I see! I could be tempted if the price is right.
Superdon
Would be interested too, again dependant on price.

Skully
This looks like it would hamper putting the handbrake on and off chums. Am I right??
DanGull
This looks like it would hamper putting the handbrake on and off chums.Am I right?? I would think so - but I'd expect to have to lift the armrest to get at the handbrake in any car the size of a Fiesta...
JonMad
I would be tempted with joining a group buy and I haven't even got the car yet (Jan 4th). So long as it can be removed without leaving any holes. A lack of a centre armrest nearly persuaded me not to go for a Fiesta. But only nearly. Tyrefryer
We gathered 14 people for our group buy (and saved € 10.- each ;) ) One thing I have to mention: This armrest has acceptable quality, but could be made better,... I had to grind off some sharp edges & the rear bolt-cover was too big. Nonetheless I would buy it straightaway, because it has the best look of all armrests, I could find by now and of course the simple removal :D
LeeZetecS
Interested definately! very smart!

FMC
@Tyrefryer: What part needed to be "modified"? I have read your posts on the German forum but I do not fully understand! (#237 etc here: http://www.fiesta-ka-forum.de/886288-post237.html) Thanks/Danke :)

Tyrefryer
You also mentioned you needed to grind some pieces? You get the armrest and two "cups". One you glue into the original tray, the other is then attached with 5 screws. (The armrest is finally fixed with a big bolt) And this second cup had some sharp edges, which I grinded.
