focus mk2 silicon induction hose help

As title I have been looking for a silicon induction hose for my mk2 (facelift) ford focus zetec but nobody makes one.

have seen the silicon induction hose kit for the mk2 focus rs and to me looks like the one hose in the kit is the same size as mine so please could any body tell me if I could use the silicon induction hose for the rs on my zetec focus please before I buy it. any help would be much appreciated

cheers for the reply Jeremy will have to hold out and see if lenny comes along.

I have also sent auto specialists a message with pics of my air box pipe and they are going to check if I can use the mk2 focus rs pipe so once they get back to me I will update here on the findings

hello again peeps quick up date have heard back and yes hopefully the hose for the rs will fit my engine so have one on its way to me.

once I have it fitted I will up load a pic of my engine bay to my build thread

me again with a up date the hose did not fit as to me seems like the silicon ones has to much of a bend in it so back to the drawing board.

Pity about that, but I would suggest that the silicon section does not have enough bend to to marry up and it looks rather short

yea is a shame mate and I think your right. so I will have to stick with the original as nobody makes one for the mk2 focus 1.6 litre petrol engine

if I remember right he posted it on one of my thread and I think it was eBay not 100% sure. Was about 60 quid tho

The one I linked before is the one Lenny linked me about a year ago for the 1.6 Petrol focus

I think it slots inside each so it should fit perfectly
