The Focus MK2 wiring loom connects directly onto the tail light bulb holders.

The Focus MK2.5 wiring loom connects to the tail light wiring looms which includes the bulb holders.

The Focus MK2.5 tail light wiring looms do not fit onto the MK2 wiring loom (and vice versa). You either have to make yourself an adapter loom or solder the MK2.5 tail light wiring looms directly onto the MK2 wiring loom.

The bulb holders of the MK2.5 tail light wiring looms have a different size than the MK2 bulb holders. Because of the different size the bulb holders are not interchangeable.
