As she deselected cruise control and moved the gear out of 6th she was unable to select any other gear including reverse. What could the problem be? Thanks! alexp999 Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Do the gears grind or does it just feel stuck in neutral? If gears are grinding it's probably clutch, if stuck in neutral, might just be the connecting rods have popped off. How old is the car? Peter Langan Posted September 26, 2016 Author Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hey, the gears are not grinding. It just won't allow her to select a gear. The clutch goes to the floor.
